ATLANTA – January 21, 2010 – AGL Resources (NYSE: AGL) names Laura Wilkinson as Managing Director, Enterprise Marketing Communications. She brings over 25 years of experience in executive management, sales and entrepreneurial ventures to the company.
 
In her role, Wilkinson will be responsible for corporate brand strategy and execution for AGL Resources, its subsidiaries and business units. She will lead the MarComm team in design and execution of all internal and external corporate marketing, communications and advertising utilizing an integrated marketing and communications delivery on multiple platforms.
 
Prior to joining AGL Resources, Wilkinson led new business development as Senior Account Manager for Cox Radio’s premiere property, News/Talk 750 WSB, and has owned and operated several broadcast properties throughout her career. She was also the founding president of DigitalMoJo, Inc., an information security managed services and consulting firm.
 
Wilkinson is an active member of the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Feminist Women’s Health Center and volunteering at Central Presbyterian Church’s homeless shelter‘s foot clinic. She is also a beekeeper.
 
Wilkinson received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University.
