City of Atlanta SHINE Program Details

The City of Atlanta’s SHINE program has $1 million available for home improvement rebates.

SHINE offers both Gold- and Silver-level rebates:

• SHINE Gold rebates require a whole-home energy assessment performed by a SHINE-qualified home assessment contractor prior to home improvements in order to qualify for rebates.
• The SHINE Silver program offers a rebates of up to $1,500 (depending on the technology) on the purchase and installation of an ENERGY STAR® certified high-efficiency hot water heater that provides a minimum energy savings of 15% vs. conventional water heaters.
